How video emails work
Send a warm, personal response to an enquiry from your phone or computer.
1. Open the conversation
Choose Video reply from an incoming email or a contact. Wedding Computer keeps the recipient and email thread attached.
2. Record or choose a video
Allow camera and microphone access to record in your browser, choose a video already on your device, or select a named standard video you recorded earlier.
3. Add a note and send
Your recipient receives a lightweight email with a preview that opens a private, mobile-friendly viewing page.
Allowances and length
Video and audio email sending is an optional addition to the Pro platform. When active, it includes unlimited sends up to 3 minutes each.
Privacy and retention
Video files are privately hosted with signed playback links. Unsent recordings are kept for up to 25 hours; sent one-off replies are deleted after 90 days. Standard videos and emails sent from them remain available while the vendor’s Wedding Computer account exists.
Recording on a phone
Use Safari or Chrome, allow camera and microphone access, and keep the page open while the video uploads. Phone selfie recordings stay portrait instead of being cropped to widescreen. If recording is unavailable, choose a video from your camera roll.
